Right to Communicate
People who have communication needs have the same rights as everyone else. This includes the right to:
- Express their opinions, preferences and decisions
 - Have their opinions heard and acknowledged
 - To take risks and make mistakes
 - Have their decisions honoured and acted upon, or taken into account when negotiating alternative options
 - Request supports and input from whomever they want
 - Reject advice provided
