For front line workers, policy makers in businesses, organizations, public, private and non-profit sectors:
- Webinar: How to make services accessible for people with communication disabilities – This webinar is a compilation of basic information and takes approximately 40 mins to complete. It requires registration, however there is no fee. A certificate of attendance is issued when the webinar is completed.
- Communication access modules – requires flash. These modules provide more information about making services accessible than the webinar. There are specific recommendations for communicating with people in face-to-face interactions and over the telephone, how to provide alternatives to telephones, how to host an accessible meeting and things to consider when written materials accessible. The modules take approximately 1-2 hours to complete.
